“We got off to a slow start, down 11-2 to start the game,” Moundridge coach Vance Unrau said. “We had trouble keeping 6-foot-8 Conner Remar out of the paint and off the glass. But we settled in and battled back to close the gap to three at halftime. Came out strong in the third and took the lead that we would not relinquish. Closed out the game shooting free throws. We played with a lot of energy and effort tonight. Truly the difference in the outcome of the game. Trinity Catholic has a very nice team and to get the win on the road made tonight even more satisfying. Big week ahead as we host Bennington (today) and Inman on Friday.”
