WICHITA — The Wichita Thunder was outscored 3-1 in the third period, falling to the Rapid City Rush 7-5 Wednesday in ECHL play at Intrust Bank Arena.

Ryan Misiak scored three goals with an assist to lead Rapid City, 16-25-8-0. Ryan Walters scored a goal with two assists. Terrence Wallin and Mark Cooper each scored a goal with an assist. Alex Mikulovich added a goal. Mike Monfredo distributed three assists.

Blake Tatchell scored a goal with two assists to lead Wichita. Alexis Vanier and Macoy Erkamps each added a goal with an assist. David Friedmann and new acquisition Maxime St-Cyr each added a goal.

Wichita was outshot 37-28. Austin Lotz had 23 saves for the Rush. Scott Greenham had 30 saves for Wichita.

Wichita falls to 15-27-3-1 and hosts the Toledo Walleye at 7:05 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
