PHS girls golf took 4th in their home invitational Monday.

There’s nothing like playing on a familiar course to give a golfer confidence.

The Pratt High School girls golf team proved that Monday as they posted some nice scores to finish 4th in a 12-team invitational they hosted at Park Hills.

Lady Green was led by Aubrey Meyers, who shot 41 to finish in second place, only 2 strokes out of first.

“Aubrey played a nice, steady round,” said PHS head coach Kerry Thieme. “She did a good job.”

Sarah Skaggs shot 51, Peyton Sheldon 64, Lauryn Dipman 65, Brooke Farr 68 and Kendall Hutchinson 70 to help PHS to their 4th place finish as a team.

The girls golfers play again this week at Kingman on Thursday then at Cheney on Monday as the season continues.
