Skyline lost their Homecoming game Friday to South Central 47-0.

It was Homecoming at Skyline Friday night, but not a particularly happy one as the T-Birds were run-ruled 47-0 by visiting South Central.

The Timberwolves stopped Skyline 3 & out on the game's first possession, then took only 2 plays to get the ball in the end zone and go up 8-0. That pretty much set the tone for what would not be a pleasant night for the Thunderbirds.

The next series for Skyline was one of their best of the night, as they were able to move the chains a few times before getting held on downs at the T-Wolves 25.

Skyline lost a fumble on their own 30 on their next possession, then had a punt blocked out of the end zone for a safety on their final possession of the first quarter. South Central had a commanding 26-0 lead.

The second period was no better for Skyline as a fumble and two 3 & outs ended their 3 drives. Meanwhile, South Central continued to score at will, although the Thunderbirds "d" did have a nice stand on their own 10 to close out the first half.

With South Central up 47-0 at halftime, that was the ballgame. The T-Birds play this week at Macksville.
