Former Pratt Community College basketball player Brett Crittenden was recently honored by the Mid-South Conference.
Crittenden, a Tribune native, was one of two Campbellsville University players named to the Academic All-Conference team, an honor extended to student-athletes maintaining a 3.25 grade point average.
Crittenden scored 18 points in the Tigers’ most recent win. For the season, he is averaging 4.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, and just over a steal per game while shooting 32 percent from three-point range.
He has started 13 games and played in 29 this season for Campbellsville.
The Tigers won the Mid-South Conference regular season championship and have climbed to seventh in the March 2 NAIA Division I national ratings.
The Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Tournament begins today with four quarterfinal games at the Frankfort Convention Center in Frankfort, Ky.
Campbellsville (24-6) is the top seed in their conference tournament. Their quarterfinal game was played this morning against eighth-seeded Rio Grande.
Quarterfinal winners will advance to Saturday’s semifinals, and the Mid-South Conference championship game will be played at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday.
