Campers at the Pratt Community College womens basketball team’s middle school camp this week got plenty of one-on-one attention as they polished their fundamentals under the direction of PCC coach Stephanie Shanline.
Ten girls from Greensburg, Mullinville and Pratt attended the camp, which consisted of sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at the Beaver Dome.
Campers worked on dribbling, passing, and shooting during the camp.
This was the first year for the women’s team to offer a middle school camp directed by Shanline, who also helped with a co-ed camp directed by PCC mens coach Trevor Rolfs earlier this summer.
Shanline is entering her second year as the head coach at PCC and plans to continue the middle school camp in future years.
