Kansas City Wizards fans can now display their team pride electronically.
The club announced Wednesday that its Web site will offer fans the opportunity to download a Wizards Firefox theme.
The theme, created with a partnership between the team and Brand Thunder, will offer fans RSS feeds from www.kcwizards.com and hillcrestroadblog.com, along with the Wizards' Facebook, MySpace and Twitter pages.
“We are very proud to be the first MLS team to work with Brand Thunder on a custom Firefox Boom,” Wizards New Media Manager Kyle Rogers said. “Soccer supporters are technology-minded and have embraced all previous additions to our online portfolio from our official blog Hillcrest Road to the January launch of our Twitter page and our other social-media components. Our fans will also make great use of this new Web-based feature.”
The team is the first in Major League Soccer to have its own theme.
