September 03, 2019: SOAP #3561:  Ezekiel 20-21; Psalm 111; Revelation 8

Scripture:  Psalm (NIV) 111:7 The works of his hands arefaithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy. 8 They are steadfast forever and ever, done in faithfulness and uprightness.

Observation:   Wakingup in the morning, we do not need to worry about how God will be today.  He will be the same as He has always been andwill always be.  His word istrustworthy.  It is worthwhile to get toknow His Word.  It is not a waste oftime.  It is foolish not to becomefamiliar with what God has said.

We can learn about God's character and have confidence that He will always actin line with his character.  We can haveassurance that His actions will always be an expression of His character.

Application:   Whatterror would strike my heart if I thought my day would be ruled by fate, or thewhim of another person.  But there is noneed for fear because the One who loves me the most is greater than anything!  I can trust Him to be faithful and true to Hischaracter and to His child (me).

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, you will love people todaythe same as you have always loved people. You will love me today as you have always loved me.  And you will hate sin today as much as youhave always hated sin.  Holy Spirit, guide me today to reject what God hates and to walk in His divine favor.  Amen
