Bertha Margaret Fischer, 91, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born Nov. 11, 1921, at Willowdale, the daughter of August W. and Katherine Greiving Goetz. On Feb. 22, 1943, she married Arthur W. Fischer at Willowdale. He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2009.

Bertha was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Altar Society and Sacred Heart Ministry of Praise all in Pratt.

Survivors include two daughters, LaDonna and Larry Forrest of Wichita, Janice Light of Denton, Texas; four sons, Duane and Belinda Fischer and Lenus Fischer, all of Pratt, Kenny Fischer and Melissa Lee and Roger and Holly Fischer, all of Wichita; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two half-brothers, Cletus Goetz of Wichita, Sylvester Goetz of Kingman; four half-sisters, Lorraine Cline of Gridley, Calif., Agnes Hiefner of Derby, Dorothy Neal of Kingman and Mildred Dare of Salina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Norbert Goetz and a sister, Eleanor Goetz Miller.

Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Vigil will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pratt. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Jan. 19, at 11:30 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Floyd McKinney presiding. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Pratt.
