Diane (Baker/Lake/Turner) Sevick, 67 passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Diane was born in Dodge City, on Dec. 24, 1945, to parents Loren and Ozelle Baker.

She graduated from Pratt High School in 1963 and studied art at the University of Kansas. She worked alongside her late husband, Dr. Tim Turner, as his office manager for many years before retiring in2005.

Diane was an incredible person who loved cooking, painting and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was also an avid KU fan and never wavered in her support of the university.

Diane married George Sevick on Nov. 21, 2008, and was forever a devoted wife and mother to her children: Jeff, Jennifer, David and stepson George and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Loren and Ozelle Baker, husband Timothy N. Turner and her son Jeffery Lake.

She is survived by her husband George, of the home; stepson George Sevick and his wife Suzanne; children Jennifer Hearne and her husband Christopher; David Lake and his wife Farah; grandchildren Madison and Evan Hearne, Oliver and Gavin Lake, George and Connor Sevick, all of Wichita.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday March 12 at College Hill United Methodist Church with interment to follow at Lakeview cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. www.cancer.org
