PRATT — Carol Jane Kneller, 71, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Westchester Village in Lenexa. She was born September 19, 1946 in Pomona, Kansas, the daughter of George and Esther (Long) McClure. On October 10, 1969, she married Larry Kneller in Wichita.  He preceded her in death on February 3, 2013.

Carol graduated from Pomona High School in 1964. She graduated from Pratt Community College in 1991 with an Associates degree in nursing. She worked at Pratt Regional Medical Center in the Endoscopy department. She attended First United Methodist Church in Pratt and also attended the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Lenexa. She was a member of Pilot Club of Pratt and enjoyed gardening, cooking, antiquing, home keeping, and visiting her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Michael and Karie Kneller of Overland Park; two grandchildren, Emma and Allison Kneller; sister, Marilyn McClure; and cousin, Peggy Coen and her four children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents; infant brother, George McClure II; and sister, Kathy Winters.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m., at Larrison Mortuary 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt, KS 67124. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Pratt with Pastor Louis Keeling presiding. Graveside service will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Pomona with Reverend Cheryl Jefferson-Bell presiding.
