Activities for fun and to help others are coming up in Pratt this weekend.

Get these items on the social calendar as there is a lot going on in Pratt this weekend.

1. Pratt High School homecoming assembly is at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9 in the high school gym. Homecoming is against Smoky Valley.

2. Pratt Elks Lodge 1451 will host Fiddlin' Round, a Hillbilly dirt band from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10 at the lodge. Cost is $8 per person or $15 per couple.

3. The Hope Center will host a spaghetti fundraiser to cover funeral expenses for the Wheatly/Eggleston families that lost five family members in a house fire Jan. 25. The meal will start at noon on Sunday, Feb. 11 at the Municipal building. The meal is by donation. The band "On the Hill" will provide live music. Contact the Hope Center at 933-2166 for more information.

 4. The Pratt County Historical Society will host a vintage tea at the museum from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11. Attendees are encouraged to dress in style with hats and gloves. Tickets are $10 and available every day at the museum from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Contact 672-7874 for information. This is a fundraiser to benefit education for women including local scholarships and is sponsored by IF P.E.O.

5. The Sweet Adelines will host a Valentine Tea from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11 at the First United Methodist Church. Refreshments of tea, sandwiches and cookies will be served. Admission is by donation. A raffle will be held for six cups.

6. Pratt Community College will host the Encore Valentine's show and dinner. To RSVP, contact 450-2212. Admission is $5 or $15 for the dinner and show combo. Contact Misty Beck at for more information.
