Mary Lou Jarmer, 90, died April 14, 2018, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.

She was born July 29, 1927, in Kingman County, the daughter of Frank and Rose Schwartz Theis. A longtime resident of Kingman County, recently of Pratt, Kansas, she was a homemaker and cook for USD 332.

Mary Lou was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church, St. Leo, Kansas, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pratt, and the D of I.

On Feb. 10, 1947, she married Alois “A.J.” Jarmer at St. Leo; he died Dec. 15, 2010. Survivors include sons Tom, Wichita, Wayne, Cunningham, and Frank, Pratt; daughters Margie Leis, Kansas City, Kansas, Annette Adelhardt, Pratt, Lori Brungardt, Hesston; brothers Ken, Pratt, Sam, Cunningham, and Phil, Nashville, Kansas; sisters Eileen Danahy, Wichita, Jody Meyer, Goddard, Ethel Orth, Wichita, Sandy Mertens, Garden Plain, and Sally Fischer, Kingman; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Parish rosary will be 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, at St. Leo Catholic Church. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Livingston Funeral Home, Kingman. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, also at St. Leo Catholic Church.  Burial will be in the St. Leo Cemetery.
