Michael Egging, 68 of Pratt, received minor injuries following a two-vehicle rear end accident Oct. 8 on the north edge of Pratt at U.S. 281 and 10th Street.
A Pratt man received minor injuries following a two-vehicle accident Monday at North U.S. 281 and 10th Street. Michael Egging, 68 of Pratt, was northbound in a 2004 Ford F250 flatbed when he was rear ended by a northbound 2012 Ford F350 belonging to Joiner Construction and driven by Kevin Burns, 39 of Great Bend, according to the Pratt County Sheriff's Office.
The impact sent Egging's vehicle through the west ditch, across a lawn and came to a stop next to a residence. Pratt County EMS transported Egging to Pratt Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. Burns and his passengers 26-year-old Kenneth Johnston of Great Bend and 39-year-old Valadez Ayala of Great Bend were not injured. Seat belt usage was not reported.
The front end of the F350 sustained damage to the grill and fender while the F250 had damage to the rear bumper and the rear window was broken out. The accident was reported at 3:18 p.m.
