Pratt Elks Lodge 1451 used a $1,500 Anniversary Grant to benefit the Kansas Soldier's Home in Fort Dodge.

The Pratt Elks Lodge 1451 recently presented a $1,500 Anniversary Grant to the Kansas Soldiers’ Home in Fort Dodge.

The money was used to new make new cement pads and charging polls for the resident’s golf carts.The golf carts are a primary way for residents to move around outside the buildings.

The Elks also helped paint new white lines on the parking places. Pratt Elks supports several projects including the Soldier’s Home.

Those participating last month in the sidewalk project at Fort Dodge Soldier’s Home included Bev Aldrich, Kenny Gates, Brenda Riffey and Ross Hoy.
