Benjamin Rowland offers a variety of ride options with his Pratt-based limousine service, just in time for the holidays.

Looking at Lemon Park Lights might be more fun from the back seat of Pratt’s newest limo service and Benjamin Rowland, owner-operator of a gleaming limousine is ready to make that happen.
By day, 33- year-old Rowland is a farm mechanic. But, when his Lim-O of Pratt (LOOP) customers call, Rowland dons a snappy black suit and dapper hat to pick up passengers in style.
Roland said his slogan invites potential riders to “Get into the LOOP,” a handle he derived from his business name, Lim-O of Pratt.
Rowland graduated from Pratt High School with the Class of 2004 and from Pratt Community College’s Auto Mechanic Program in 2007. He started his limo service in September this year with a 2000 Lincoln Town Car stretch limo.

“I like to shop online and I found a deal I just couldn’t refuse,” said Rowland.

The self-proclaimed entrepreneur said he purchased the limo through an auction website from a Wichita service that was upgrading its fleet. One selling point was that the limo had been well-kept, though Rowland said he spent a few months going through it with a fine-tooth comb to bring it up to near-showroom condition.
The eight-passenger limo is a luxury ride. Its voluptuous black leather interior provides seating comfortably for eight. There is a full-service bar setup, but doesn’t include beverages, hard or soft, according to Rowland.
“Those are on the booking party,” Rowland said.
The limo also features a privacy window, mood lighting, flat-screen TV and a stereo system with sub-woofers under the seat.
“It’ll rattle the windows,” Rowland said of the stereo.
There’s also an intercom for communication between driver and passengers, when needed.
Rowland said he is ready, willing and able to provide limo service for any occasion, to any destination within 100-mile travel radius.
His business card lists weddings, proms, date nights, concerts, anniversaries and other special occasions, Casino Nights and as “designated driver service” on weekends, if he’s available.
LOOP’s Basic fee is $100 per hour, which covers sales tax and gratuity. For out-of-town transportation, the “meter” is only ticking when he’s behind the wheel, Rowland said.
For those who might want to go out and look at Lemon Park Lights or other Christmas decorations and displays, Rowland said if a group of eight got together for a ride, it would not only be a “hoot,” it would be an affordable “hoot.”
