Pratt High School's new archery team took third at their second competition.
Pratt High School Archery took 3rd place at the 2019 Kansas NASP /IBO 3D Challenge at the Century II Convention Center in Wichita this past weekend. This is the archery team’s second meet and first 3D competition.
The team competing consisted of senior Daniel Sanchez, juniors Shawndra Bare, Jonathan Popovich, Dustin Sheets, sophomore Jayven Teets, and freshmen MacKenzie Shanline, Matt Hook, and Abbigail Kendall. The team received individual medals and a team trophy.
“I am very proud of this team and what they have accomplished in our first year of competing. They are a great group to work with,” said team sponsor Michelle Popovitch.
The archery team will compete at Clearwater in early March, and then take part in the 2019 Kansas Archery in the Schools Tournament in Pratt at Blythe Family Fitness on March 30.
