Pratt softball defeats Halstead 14-0, 22-6 on Friday.

The PHS softball team brought the heat against Halstead last Friday, adding another two wins to the their record.
“I thought we played two, good, complete games and got contributions, in various ways, from a lot of girls,” said PHS coach Mike Forshee.
The girls started off strong at the plate in the first game, scoring 3 in the first inning. They continued to rack up runs until they run ruled the Dragons 14-0 in six innings.
In the second game the Greenbacks allowed Halstead to get up 6-3 after the first inning. However, the girls kept their cool and came back to run rule Halstead a second time. This time in five innings with a score of 22-6.
“Defensively we are playing with a lot of poise and confidence. Game two was a great example of this. When Halstead put up six runs the bottom of  the first, we did not panic, played through it, and had one of our best offensive performances of the season,” said Forshee.
The girls travel to Haven this Friday.
