The Skyline High School boys and girls track teams  traveled to Medicine Lodge High School on Friday, April 26 to compete in the Medicine Lodge High School Invitation.

Boys win 2nd with several gold medal performances
The T-Birds had a successful day on the track and in the field, leading to a second place finish for Skyline. Top six finishers are as follows: 3,200M run - 1st place Jackson Wallace, 2nd place Jacob Swisher, 3rd place Colby Shriver, 800M run - 2nd place Erik Ghumm, javelin - Eli Temanson 2nd place, 400M dash - 6th place Joel Towner, 1,600M run - 1st place Jackson Wallace, 2nd place Jaco Swisher, 4th place Colby Shriver, 100M dash - 4th place Jesus Casas, 6th place Braden Tyler, 4x400M relay - 3rd place, 4x800M relay - 1st place, long jump - 3rd place Jesus Casas, 300M hurdles - 1st place Sam Fisher, discus - 3rd place Zack Urban, 6th place Eli Temanson, shot put - 1st place Zack Urban, 2nd place Eli Temanson, 4x100M relay - 1st place, high jump, 3rd place Jesus Casas, 4th place Mark Schmidt.

The Skyline girls team compiled 107 points throughout the day, enough to earn a third-place finish. Top six finishers are as follows: 300M hurdles - 6th place Baylee Lauffer, 1,600M run - 1st place Heidi Roberts, 3rd place Addison Hampton, 6th place Riley Washington, 3,200M run - 1st place Brianna Spease, 2nd place Addison Hampton, 100M dash - 3rd place Cassidy Spease, 4th place Kayley Cook, 4x100M relay - 3rd place, 200M dash - 2nd place Cassidy Spease, 3rd place Katelynn McGraw, 4th place Kayley Cook, 800M run - 4th place Hayley Roberts, 400M dash - 1st place Hayley Roberts, long jump - Riley Washington, 1st place, 4x400M relay - 3rd place.
Both teams are are back in action Tuesday, April 30 at Hodgeman County. Start time is 10 a.m.
