A double-header goes south for the Pratt Skyline softball team, despite runs on the board.

The Skyline High School Lady T-Birds faced off against the Spearville High School Lady Lancers on Thursday, May 2 for their first game in nine days.
The Lady Lancers wasted no time putting their high powered offense on display, scoring 20 runs in the second inning. The Lady T-Birds weren’t able to get on the board, leading to a 0-20 defeat.
Skyline was able to put five runs on the board in the second game, all coming in the third inning. Spearville’s offense was once again too much though, as they put another 20 runs on the board, this time over the course of four innings.
Falicity Riggs, Kyrian Keeling, Kami McComb, and Kayla Urban all had hits for the Lady T-Birds. Skyline is back in action at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 10.
The T-Birds will honor their senior student athletes at this game.
