IUKA, KANSAS — V. Marvella Randle, 91, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at Parkwood Village in Pratt. She was born June 28, 1927, in Cullison to John Wesley and Ida Virginia “Cricket” (Ellison) Combs. On August 16, 1945, she married Wayne Gordon Randle in Sawyer, KS. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1971.

Marvella was a member of Iuka Methodist Church.  She was a cosmetologist and owned her own beauty shop in Iuka.

She is survived by her daughters, Elaine (Cleo) Shanks and Ellen (Les) Rolo both of Iuka; son-in-law, Barry Rolo of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren, Richard Rolo, Teresa (Schwertfeger) Colbert, Regan (Angela) Schwertfeger, Corinna (Wayne) Levenseller, Jim (Christy) Schwertfeger, Rayna (Jeff) Rolo-Bolen and Shayna (BaRon) Rolo-Johnson; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Marvella was preceded in death by her parents; son, John Randle; daughter, Eileen Rolo; sisters, Melva Adams, Marcella Cronk, Marie Colham, Violet May “Dutch” Maercker, and Beulah Gilmore and granddaughter, Sherry Rolo.

Cremation has taken place.

Friends may sign the book 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2019 at Iuka Methodist Church, Iuka with Pastor Louis Keeling presiding. A private family inurnment will be at a later date at Iuka Cemetery, Iuka.
