Douglas Harold Kilgariff, 69, of Pawnee, Okla. (previously Pratt, Kan.),  passed away Monday, August 19, 2019. He was born March, 24, 1950, in Salina, KS to Harold and Maxine Kilgariff.

Left to celebrate his life include: son, Aaron Kilgariff of Wichita, Kan., daughter, Sarah Oenning (Chad), of Wichita, Kan., brothers, Russ Kilgariff (Pam), of Pawnee, Okla., Danny Kilgariff (Sherry), of Hutchinson, Kan., grandchildren, Jackson and Olivia Oenning, Autumn Jackson (Zach), great grandchild, Parker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roger Kilgariff.

Doug spent many years working overseas in the oilfield as a rig manager in countries such as Chad, Africa and Saudi Arabia, UAE. He is also the former owner of Donald’s Servateria in Pratt, KS.

Doug had a full life traveling the wheat belt in his youth, working overseas on drilling rigs, owning/managing a local restaurant (Donald’s Servateria) and exploring for gold in Arizona and Canada. He will always be remembered for his generous, fun-loving nature and “open door policy.”

Cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the Pratt Elks Lodge, Lodge Hall, Monday, August 26, 2019 in Pratt, KS.
