The Kansas Small Business Development Center of Washburn University, Topeka, announces that Jim Greenwood, of Greenwood Consulting Group Inc., will conduct an all-day workshop Tuesday, Nov. 5, to help innovators apply for Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Technology Transfer grants. These competitive grants provide opportunities for small businesses to access capital for research and development of new problem-solving products and technologies and to partner with universities on research.

The workshop will include an overview of programs, what agencies are looking for, differences between the agencies and their solicitations, and how to meet proposal expectations. The SBIR workshop will be held at Washburn University.

Jim Greenwood is one of the nation’s leading private consultants on SBIR and STTR grants.
