PRATT – Dorothea M. (Miessler) Williams, 88, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Pratt Health and Rehab. She was born June 7, 1931 in Emporia, to Reverend Gerhardt and Martha (Reinert) Miessler.

On June 23, 1950, she married Donald E. Williams in Blytheville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on December 17, 2008.

Dorothea was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Natrona, KS. She was a member and Past President of the Pratt Pilot Club and was former District Governor of Kansas-Missouri Pilot International. She served The Kansas District and Zone LWML on the Christian Growth District committee, along with being the Zone President and other offices. Dorothea and her husband were owners of Donald’s Servateria in Pratt.

She is survived by her two sons: Roger and wife, Renee Williams of Wichita, and Mike and wife, Ellen Williams of Derby; three daughters: Donna Tritsch of Pratt, Pam and husband, Russ Kilgariff of Pawnee, OK, and Deb and husband, Steve Webster of Great Bend, and a sister, Arline Githens of Wichita; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents; one infant son, David Wayne, and great grandchildren Andrew Williams, Bridget Roberts and Taylor Wood, a brother, LeRoy Miessler and a sister Jeanette Morrison.

Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5-7 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Natrona/Preston with the Reverend Michael Schotte presiding. Burial will be in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
