PRATT—Ula Von Quinn, 89, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Pratt Health and Rehab. She was born December 17, 1931 in King City, Missouri to Glenn and Blanche (Broderick) Darnell. Ula married Sherrill Duane Quinn on March 10, 1951 in King City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 15, 1996.
Ula graduated from King City High School in 1950. She owned and operated Quinn’s Beauty Shop since the 1970’s. She enjoyed gardening, birds, reading, her family; and spending time with her great-granddaughter, Quinn.
She is survived by her son, Pat (Donna) Quinn of Pratt; sisters, Ann Vance of Loveland, Colorado, Phyllis (Jack) Evatt of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Jenny (Ron) Langford of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Jerry (Sharon) Darnell of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; brother in-laws, Doug Kemp of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Elton Freeman of King City, Missouri; granddaughter, Kayleigh (Michael Krull) Quinn of Wichita; grandson, Michael (Breanna) Quinn of Wichita; and great-granddaughter, Quinn Watson of Wichita.
Ula is preceded in death by her husband, Sherrill; parents; sisters, Debby Kemp and Marjorie Freeman; and brother in-law, Bob Vance.
Cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
