Skyline boys took 3rd and the girls took 4th at the Medicine Lodge track meet Thursday.

Skyline's boys and girls track teams were able to place and score in numerous events last Thursday at the Medicine Lodge Invitational. The boys took third in the six-team meet with 111. The girls were fourth with 66. Winning both divisions was Chaparral: boys 178, girls 190.

The Lady T-Birds were highlighted by a pair of gold medals in the field events: Madison Tyler in triple jump and Sydney Koirth in shot put. Skyline girls placers were:

"The kids had some better conditions to perform in and took advantage," Skyline head track coach Andrew Nation said. "We had a good day of competing and improved some finer details in all areas of competition." Meets come fast and furious at this part of the season for the Skyline thinclads, as they will travel to Hodgeman County on Tuesday. They will also go to Ellinwoo on Friday.
