Couple with Stafford County connections to celebrate 60th wedding anniversary Friday

Jerry Paden and Kaye Mason were married Aug. 20, 1961, in Smith Center, Kansas.  Jerry is a retired educator and school administrator and Kaye is a retired USPS employee, district office secretary, and preschool teacher.  They lived in Macksville for 51 years and also lived in Sterling, LaCrosse, and Smith Center.  They were involved with the St. John and Hudson communities as well.

Their children are Janis Fair, Sterling; Jerlyn Peak and husband, Mike, Andover; Jon Paden and wife, Nikki, Little River.  They have ten grandchildren: Taylor/Ashtyn Fair; Cameron/Marissa Fair; Mikalyn, Jonathon, Karly Peak; Jacob, Sutton, Mason Paden; and a great-granddaughter, Lyla Joy Fair.
