Raymond L. Spurgin, age 67, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Shattuck, Okla. He was born on Sept. 11, 1947 to Joseph and Betty Spurgin in Woodward, Okla. On June 6, 1972, he married Melanie King in Pratt.Raymond was a veteran of the US Army, serving two tours in Vietnam. Raymond was also an avid joke teller and there was not a blonde joke he did not know.
