Information contained in a Tribune story about Head Start transportation was incorrect. During the last school year, Head Start children in USD 438 were picked up at their homes in a Skyline bus equipped with five-point harnesses that met requirements, Superintendent Mike Sanders said. The children were taken from Skyline to Haskins Elementary School in a Head Start bus.

Last May, Sanders was informed that Head Start would not bring its bus to Skyline during the 2008-09 school year and he was told that families were also informed.

The Tribune regrets the error.
