Wilma L. Campbell, age 94, went peacefully to be with the Lord after a short illness, with her daughters by her side on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at South Wind Hospice Home in Pratt.


Wilma L. Campbell, age 94, went peacefully to be with the Lord after a short illness, with her daughters by her side on Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at South Wind Hospice Home in Pratt. 

She was born Jan. 31, 1916 in Bennet, Neb., the daughter of Louis and Minnie Webb Bluhm. On March 7, 1942, she married Montaville John Campbell in Papillion, Neb.  He preceded her in death in 1967. 

Previously from Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Hobart, Okla., she most recently moved to Pratt from Florida.  She was a homemaker.

She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Pratt, was currently attending Calvary Baptist church in Pratt, and had been a member at First Christian Church, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and First Baptist Church, Hobart, Okla., where she was an active volunteer.  She was also a member of the Postal Workers Auxiliary in Iowa, and volunteered at the Kiowa Co. Museum in Hobart.

She is survived by four daughters, Frances Brownell of Pratt, Katherine Real of Eddy, Texas, Patricia Trotti of Dobbins, Calif., and Suzanne Kerschner of White, Ga.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and three brothers.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., Sunday at Larrison Mortuary. Private graveside services will be held at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Neb.
