Pratt 52, Haven 0 – Final

Pratt clinched its spot as the runner-up in District 13 by beating Haven Thursday night in a game that was decided at halftime.

On senior night, it was senior Jake Siroky who stole the show, running for more than 150 yards and passing the 1,000 yard mark for the season.

Haven (1-8) was outmatched from the beginning, with Pratt scoring 17 points in the first quarter and not allowing the Wildcats to move the ball much. Haven threatened to score just once, in the third quarter after recovering a squib kickoff untouched. The Wildcats drove into the Greenback red zone, but another senior – Justin Gilmore – intercepted the following pass and ran it back almost 90 yards for a touchdown.

With the win, Pratt clinches its spot in the playoffs after missing them last season. Pratt will play Ulysses on Tuesday, at either 6 or 7 p.m., pending an exception on the start time from the state because of travel.
