Charges were filed around noon Friday against a Pratt man involved in a domestic incident at 703 North Oak on Wednesday.

Jason Cash, 26, is in the Pratt County Jail on $100,000 bond. Charges against him are aggravated kidnapping, criminal restraint, aggravated battery, domestic battery and assault on a law enforcement officer, said Pratt City Attorney Ken Van Blaricum.

A first appearance is scheduled at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30.

Pratt Police were contacted Wednesday, March 23 about a domestic problem at the address. Cash allegedly sat on an unidentified adult female during the incident detaining her and causing her to bleed.

Cash also allegedly made a threatening gesture to a police officer in a manner that made the officer think Cash might hurt him.

The woman eventually left the house under her own accord and Cash eventually surrendered to police officers without incident. A child on the porch was removed to a patrol unit as a precaution.

Cash is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
