The Pratt volleyball team traveled to Valley Center on Tuesday to finish regular season play.  Goddard rounded out the triangular.  In the first match Pratt took on the 4th-ranked Valley Center Hornets.  The first set was a back and forth battle, Valley eventually winning it 25-19.  Recently the Greenbacks have had trouble with their service reception and it cost them the second match.  Poorly passed balls kept the Greenbacks from mounting a consistent attack and momentum was squarely in the Hornets corner, winning the second set and match, 25-9.
The Goddard Lions were up next and despite a slow start; the Pratt team began to get in rhythm, defeating Goddard in the first set 25-19.  From there the team took control and on strong serving by Jaci Kolm, rolled to a second-set and match victory 25-15.  The Greenbacks ended the regular season with a 26-10 record.  They will begin post-season play on Saturday at the Ulysses 4A Sub-state.
The Pratt JV volleyball team ended their season on the road at Valley Center.  Starting the night with g a rough game and a new rotation they couldn’t get pas the Valley Center Hornets.  The Greenbacks lost to a difficult Valley Center team, 8-25 and 12-25.
Next the Greenbacks took on Goddard Lions.  The team played with confidence and metal toughness taking the Lions in three games.  After losing the first game 20-25 the team fought back and won the second and third game, 25-21 and 15-4.  As the season comes to an end the Greenback JV team went 21-8 overall.  They had a very successful season.
