Beavers campaigns off to good start

The women’s and men’s basketball teams from Pratt Community College got their seasons off to a good start, both going 2-0 over the weekend to open the 2012-13 campaign.
At the Hutch Classic the Beaver women downed Labette County 59-47 and Ottawa JV 61-56.
At the Barton County Classic, the men beat Northwest Tech 83-74 and Ft. Scott 73-68 in overtime.
