Raymond Wesley Bryant, 94, died Nov. 7, 2012, at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center. He was born Aug. 1, 1918, at Haviland, the son of Bert and Florence Barnes Bryant.

A resident of Pratt since 1980, coming from the Cullison area, he was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Wellsford Methodist Church, and former board member for the Cullison School board and the Cullison Co-op.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in New Guinea and Australia.

On Nov. 2, 1947, he married Marjorie Eisenhauer at Pratt. She died Sept. 13, 1998. He then married Marie Bartel on March 11, 2000. She survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Darrell Bryant, Pratt, and Larry Bryant, Greeley, Colo.; a brother, Don, Copeland; half-sisters, Virginia Hamilton and Betty Barker, Preston, Idaho; three grandchildren, Kasey Hawkins (James), Kori Peek (Josh) and Craig Bryant; and two great-grandchildren, Keagan and Emry Peek.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Bertha; brothers, Deane and Charles.

The funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Pratt Friends Church, with Pastor Mike Neifert presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ayres-Calbeck. Friends are invited to meet with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Haviland Cemetery.
