Teen girls of the aughts - your wish has (finally) come true.
One Tree Hill's brooding leading man Chad Michael Murray will guest-star opposite former O.C. brooding leading man Benjamin McKenzie on Southland, TVLine reports.
Murray, 31, will appear in multiple episodes of the gritty TNT cop drama as Dave Mendoza, a likeable cop who is also a bit of a loose cannon. His off-duty antics aren't exactly a good influence on Officer Sherman (McKenzie). Funny, we always thought Murray's Lucas Scott was the lesser of two bad boys compared to McKenzie's Ryan Atwood. Tree Hill doesn't hold a candle to the rough streets of Chino, no?

If Southland's wardrobe department hasn't yet, might we suggest that they stock up on wife beaters? Just a thought.
After moving out of One Tree Hill following seven seasons, Murray returned to the longtime CW soap for its final season and also starred in the ABC pilot Scruples.
Season 5 of Southland premieres on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 10/9c.
Are you excited to see Murray and McKenzie team up?
