A woman received minor injuries when she lost control of her 2004 Honda on SE 100th Avenue and rolled the vehicle that landed upright in a wheat field.

A one-vehicle rollover accident Monday morning resulted in minor injuries to a 36-year-old driver.

Lindsay Cox was north bound on SE 100th Avenue (the Cairo blacktop) in a 2004 Honda Pilot when she went off the road on the west side, overcorrected, lost control and slid sideways across the blacktop and into the east ditch where the vehicle rolled over, went through a fence and landed on its wheels in a wheat field just south of SE 70th Street that is seven miles south of Cairo.

Pratt County EMS transported Cox and her passenger 5-month-old Diesel Cox to Pratt Regional Medical Center. Cox was treated and released while Diesel was not admitted.

The accident was reported at 8:29 a.m. Pratt County EMS, Pratt County Sheriff's officers and Pratt County Rescue all responded to the accident. Rescue was not needed.
