Edna Luella Currier, 75, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Pioneer Lodge, Coldwater. She was born Dec. 13, 1936, at Woodward, Okla., the daughter of Harry Edward "Pete" and Alice Rosamond "Rose" Lapeer Miller.
She was a resident of Coldwater since 1969, having previously lived in Woodward, Okla. She graduated from Woodward High School in 1955 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Coldwater. She was a homemaker.
She married Robert "Bob" Currier on Dec. 6, 1969, at Coldwater. He survives.
Other survivors include: four sons, David E. Shaw and wife Jan, Darrell L. Shaw, all of Dodge City; Paul E. Shaw and wife, Kellie, Woodward, Okla., and Danny Shaw and wife Angela, Coldwater; a daughter, Patty Currier, Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, H.L. Miller, Edmond, Okla.; a sister, Maxine Johnson, Clinton, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Patrick Robert Currier; one brother, Joe H. Miller; and a sister, Betty Marie Shaw.
Memorial service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14 at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater. Memorials may be made to Pioneer Lodge in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 417, Coldwater, KS 67029.
