A collection of photographs by Lisa Perez Miller is currently on exhibit through Feb. 1 in the Pratt Community College Riney Art Gallery located in the Riney Student Conference Center.
Photography is a hobby for Miller, who enjoys shooting a variety of subjects, including landscapes, architecture, animals, flowers and people. Having taken thousands of photos, Miller continues to develop her skills as a photographer, experimenting with composition, special effects and unique subjects.
"I love the creative challenge which photography offers both behind the camera and in photo editing," Miller said.
Miller is the vice president of students/enrollment management at the college and serves as a non-profit organization director and a civic volunteer.
She received her undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and a graduate degree from Wichita State University and is a native of Humboldt. Lisa and her husband Mike have resided in Pratt since the fall of 1983.
The gallery will be open during PCC's regular business hours Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and by appointment. To schedule an appointment contact Jody Jorns at extension 179.
Additional exhibits will be on campus in the Delmar Riney Gallery this spring as well.
