  • Auditions for Pratt Community College's next show 'South Pacific' will be held Jan. 16 and 17.
Auditions are open to community members, as well as PCC students and staff. Anyone over the age of 13 can audition.
Those wanting to audition should show up at Carpenter Auditorium on Jan. 16 or 17 at 7 p.m. and be prepared to sing, act and dance.
The show will take place April 12, 13 and 14 in coordination with PCC's 75th Anniversary celebration.
"We chose a classic show since the show falls on the 75th anniversary of the college," said Misty Beck, director. "We wanted to choose something that had a long standing tradition in music theatre like the college has in Pratt."
For more information about the auditions or the actual show, please contact Beck at mistyb@prattcc.edu.
PCC's performing arts department has numerous opportunities for students to get involved through theatre productions, vocal music and instrumental music. There are two vocal music groups for students to participate in, along with the band groups Beaver Jam and the theatre department, all of which perform multiple times throughout the year. For more information contact mistyb@prattcc.edu.
