Laurie Ackerman and Ryan Fields, Pratt, announce the birth of their son, Rhyker Ryanson, at 2:02 p.m. Jan. 28, 2013, at Pratt Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.

He is welcomed by Kaidyn, 7, and Brylie, 6.

Grandparents are Cindy Ackerman, Pratt, Alan Ackerman, Hoxie, and Gary and Sherry Fields, Las Vegas, Nev.

Great-grandparents are Charlotte Ackerman, Hoxie, Mary Erickson, McPherson, and Bill and Sibyl Fields, Fredonia.
