Harold R Lusk 89, of Osage City, Kan., died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Topeka.
Harold was chief of law enforcement for Kansas Fish and Game before he retired. Harold and his family, wife, Ann, son, James, daughter, Luree, lived in Pratt from 1974 until 1982.
He was formerly sheriff of Osage County as well as president of the Kansas Sheriff's Association and later the Midwest Fish and Game Law Enforcement Association. While in Pratt they were members of the First Presbyterian Church.
Harold is survived by his wife, Ann, (six days short of their 62nd wedding anniversary); a son, James (Nancy) Lusk of Overland Park; daughter Luree Ann (Terry Anderson) Lusk of Wichita; and four grand children; Nathan (Lauren) of Osage City, Rachel Lusk of Baker University, Thomas Lusk of K-State and David Anderson Lusk of Wichita.
The funeral was Feb. 8th at the First Presbyterian Church in Osage City with memorials to the Osage City Tree Board.
