The Pratt High baseball team won 4 games Monday and Tuesday, beating Hillsboro on the road 12-2 and 3-0 on Monday, then sweeping Nickerson at home 8-7 and 11-4 on Tuesday.
Pratt was all over Hillsboro in one game, Jarod Gilmore scoring 3 runs to lead the Frogs to a 12-2 rout. In the other game, the Trojans were shut out by Greenback pitching— never batting more than 5 in an inning, and Pratt won 3-0.
Against Nickerson, with the score knotted at 7 heading into the bottom of the 7th, Dakota Venard had the game-winning knock, driving in Shane McEachern who had led off the inning with a walk. Pratt won 8-7.
In the other game against Nickerson, Pratt put up 5 in the 2nd inning to seize control of the game and were never headed, chalking up the 11-4 decision.
Pratt plays at Haven on Friday to end a busy week.
