Evonna Oller, 92, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.

She was born July 29, 1921, at Kingman to Ray Paul and Alice (Roush) Crosley. Evonna attended grade school in Cunningham and Pratt High School. She married Daniel Richard Oller on March 12, 1940, at Pratt. He died Aug. 10, 1993.

From 1948 until 1963, she and her husband lived in Limon, Colo. They moved to Garden City, where she owned and operated the Rancho Motel for 20 years and cooked harvest meals for 30 years. She enjoyed craftwork, sewing and playing board games.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Larry Oller; a granddaughter; a grandson; and a half-brother, Bernard Crosley.

Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Ashcraft, Matheson, Colo., and Beverly Pumfrey, Pierceville; two sons, Danny Oller, Palestine, Texas, and Darrell Oller, Topeka; a sister, Marjorie Westfahl, Hutchinson; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Garden Valley Retirement Village Chapel, with burial at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, all at Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N. Seventh, Garden City.
