Cold temperatures on Saturday kept the number of volunteers down at Lemon and Sixth Street parks, but by the end of the day, only a handful of displays remained.

A city traffic counter at the entrance to Lemon Park recorded more than 10,000 vehicles in a 31-day period beginning Dec. 3.

"I knew it would be a lot, but I didn't know it would be that high," Public Works Director Russ Rambat said at a meeting of the Pratt City Commission Monday evening. "It's a nice attraction."
