Long time Kansas physician and active Kansas Medical Mutual Insurance Company (KaMMCO) board member Daniel J. Suiter, MD, has been elected KaMMCO chairman of the board. The KaMMCO Board of Directors voted on this business matter Friday, June 27. Dr. Suiter has been an active board member since 1999, serving on a number of committees, most recently as chairman of the governance committee. 

Dr. Suiter, whose specialty is internal medicine/gastroenterology, has been with Pratt Internal Medicine Group of Pratt for over 35 years and he will continue to maintain an active medical practice in the Pratt community.

His professional affiliations in support of the advocacy and advancement of medicine include the Kansas Medical Society, American Medical Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society of Clinical Research Professionals to name a few. Dr. Suiter also served on the board of the Pratt Regional Medical Center and is co-medical director of Health Science Research Center for Clinical Trials.

Dr. Suiter and his wife, Marcia, reside in Pratt.
