  • Arrest made for July fire

  • A Pratt man has been arrested in connection with a fire in an apartment complex at 512 West Fifth on July 29.
    When first responders arrived on the scene, the door leading to one apartment was on fire. Occupants were evacuated by fire personnel.
    An investigation conducted by the Pratt Police Department and Kansas State Fire Marshal’s office determined that the cause of the fire had most likely been non-accidental, according to a report from Detective Jeff Ward.
    Benjamin Hannebohn, 21, is being held in the Pratt County Jail on charges of aggravated arson, criminal damage to property and criminal threat. Bond has been set at $200,000.
