Scripture:  Luke (NIV) 17:12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” 14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. 15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him"and he was a Samaritan.   17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Was no-one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

Observation:   The ten men were desperate.   Perhaps they had been hopeless; but then they heard about Jesus, the healer.   And now Jesus was coming their way!   What else would they do, but raise their voices!   They 'called out in a loud voice.'   When one of them discovered he was healed went back to Jesus 'praising God with a loud voice.'

Application:   I let people know about my needs and asked them to pray for me.   I should be sure to let them know God answered those prayers.   I should be as energetic in thanking and praising God for His answers as I was when I first brought those requests to Him!   He should not expect anything less from me.

Prayer:     Heavenly Father, you have never turned me away when in desperation I brought my needs to you.   You deserve all my praise, appreciation, and thanksgiving. Holy Spirit, remind me to report back to those I asked to pray.   Amen
