Scripture:  Mark (NIV) 10:13 People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them.
14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”

Observation:   Jesus did not say that the children belonged to the Kingdom of God, but that 'the kingdom of God belongs to such as these!'   I believe He is saying that they possess it by the simplicity of their faith.   In simple faith, a child believes everything he sees is his.   He can touch it. He can handle it.   He can pick it up.   He can taste it.   If something is in the room with a child, it is in his world and for him to enjoy.   At least that is the way the child sees it!

Application:   Reading God's Word is like looking around in my world.   As any parent would expect a young child to get involved with anything left in their room, may my Heavenly Father not be disappointed when I believe everything He placed in God's Word for me.

Prayer:     Heavenly Father, you created this world for man. You loved man so much you sent Your Son to die in payment for his sins.   In simple faith may I take possession of all You have provided for me.  Amen
