DC3 Men's Golf

The Conquistador men had a good day on the course in day two of the NJCAA Men's Golf National Championship on Wednesday as both the team and individuals moved up in the standing. The team moved from 8th place on Tuesday to fourth place after shooting a three-over 291. Freshman Mason LaGrange has positioned himself tied for second place after a strong day two, shooting a one-under 35 on both the front an d back nine which was the second best round of the day.  

DC3 Women's Golf 

The DC3 women's golf team finished the third round at the NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship on Wednesday and still has three golfers in the top 35. Rachanok Rahulpan led the Lady Conqs with a 10-ver 81 to move into a three-way tie for 28th with a 58-hole total of 245. The final round is tomorrow. 

DC3 Baseball 

On Wednesday it was announced that eight Conquistadors found their way onto the end of the see All-KJCCC West Team. Sophomore closer Dalton harvey was the only first team selection while freshmen Brayden Cook and Cade Engle made up DC3's two second-team selections. Sophomores Talon Schiller, Jake Pederson, Cole Brandon and Hayden Davey and freshman Dauson Tate were honorable mention selections. 

DCHS Softball

 The Lady Demons ended the 2017 season with a loss in the first round of the regional tournament in Garden City versus Hutchinson, 9-5. They finished the season with 12-9 record. After cutting the Salthawks lead to one after the first inning, the Lady Demons trailed by two or more for the duration of game. Senior Emily Stephenson led the way, going the distance on the mound giving up 9 runs on 12 hits with only seven of those runs earned while also leading her team in hits and RBIs with three hits and two RBIs.
